Crayon Shinchan has never exactly been the quiet type.

The five-year-old Japanese troublemaker character is back with CASETiFY for another round of phone cases and accessories, but this time he has brought along a few furry disguises.

Shinchan appears dressed up as a collection of creatures, from Shiro to Waniyamasan and Shirimarudashi, turning the usually sensible business of protecting your phone into something considerably more entertaining.

It is the second collaboration between Crayon Shinchan and CASETiFY, and there is a lot more to collect this time around. The collection includes CASETiFY’s impact-resistant cases for iPhone and Android, along with AirPods cases, Apple Watch bands, wireless chargers and laptop sleeves.

But the real attention-grabbers are the plush charms.

Sold in blind boxes, the fuzzy little Shinchan characters come dressed in their various animal looks, each one attached to a love-lock that can be removed and clipped onto denim or snapped onto a phone with MagSafe compatibility. So yes, your phone can now have its own tiny furry companion.

There are also Sticker & Name Custom Cases, which let you arrange Shinchan, Shiro and the gang across the case yourself, then add your name in the familiar anime lettering. For anyone who spent their childhood covering notebooks, pencil cases and school diaries with stickers, this one feels particularly familiar.

And then there are the Completionist Chase Cards, packed as limited-edition trading cards with holographic versions hidden among the set. Naturally, the idea is to collect them all, trade the doubles and hunt for the harder-to-find ones.

The collection has the sort of playful excess that makes sense for Shinchan. Nothing is trying too hard to look grown-up, polished or serious. A phone case becomes a place for stickers, a MagSafe accessory becomes a fuzzy character and a laptop sleeve gets pulled into the same cartoon universe.

Perhaps that is the best part of bringing Shinchan into the world of tech accessories. He has always been a little too mischievous for his own good, so putting him on something you carry around every day seems rather appropriate.

The Crayon Shinchan x CASETiFY collection launches globally on 31 August 2026 at CASETiFY.com and at CASETiFY Studio locations.
